HABSHAN GAS COMPLEX EXPANSION PROJECT

The Habshan Gas Complex Expansion (HGCE) for GASCO is designed to increase the capacity of the pressure boosting units to feed the additional associated gas from the Bab Oil Field for processing in the current gas treatment trains.  The expansion includes the installation of two sulphur recovery units with a total capacity of 1,600 tons a day, a new acid gas enrichment unit and a major revamp and upgrade of the Distributed Control System (DCS).

Fluor, in partnership with CCC, awarded Kentech the contract for the provision of commissioning and operations personnel.

Kentech provided over 50 highly skilled specialized commissioning personnel to assist with the final commissioning and operation of the facility. The team included:

  • Instrument technicians
  • Electrical technicians
  • DCS technicians
  • Supervisors

This contract adds to Kentech's portfolio of specialist commissioning and operations projects in the Middle East region.
