Kentech & Matera Form Australian Joint Venture

Matera Electrical and Kentech Australia are pleased to announce the formation of MKJV to offer brownfield and maintenance services to Australia’s energy market. KSJV Announces Contract Extension on the Wheatstone Project

KSJV is pleased to announce the extension of its contract at the Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project to 30 September 2018.  KSJV, a joint venture between Kentech Group and Southern Cross Electrical (ASX:SCX), is undertaking pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up work as a subcontractor to Bechtel at the LNG facility being constructed at Ashburton North. KSJV has successfully executed approximately one million manhours on the project to date without any lost time incidents. KSJV is pleased to have secured this contract extension and looks forward to continuing to support the ongoing delivery of the Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project.

KSJV Reaches $60m of Orders with Bechtel on Wheatstone Project

Kentech is pleased to announce that it's LNG-focused joint venture KSJV has with recent awards now received to date over $60m of orders under it's subcontract from Bechtel to deliver electrical and instrumentation installation services on the Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project. The work, which has commenced, is expected to be performed in the 2016 financial year. The Australian financial year 2016 ends 30th June 2017.

KSJV Announces Exciting New Contract on Wheatstone Project

Kentech Australia Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that its LNG focussed joint venture, KSJV, has secured a contract with Bechtel, an international gas service company headquartered in the USA, for the provision of electrical and instrumentation installation services for the downstream portion of the Wheatstone LNG processing facility. Work commenced on site in early 2016 and will be performed on a cost reimbursable basis. KSJV is a 50:50 joint venture between Southern Cross Electrical Engineering (SCEE) and Kentech. About Wheatstone: The Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project is one of Australia’s largest resource projects. Located at Ashburton North, 12 kilometres west of Onslow in Western Australia, The Wheatstone Project is a joint venture between the Australian subsidiaries of Chevron, Apache, Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company and Shell and Kyushu Electric Power Company. The Initial phase of the project will consist of two liquefied natural gas trains with a combined capacity of 8.9 million tonne per annum and a domestic gas plant. About Bechtel: Bechtel has been working in Australia for more than 58 years, Bechtel (Western Australia) is contracted to Chevron to provide engineering, procurement and construction services for the downstream portion of the Wheatstone LNG project. As one of the largest engineering, project management and construction companies in the world, Bechtel operates through five global business units that specialise in civil infrastructure; power generation; communications and transmission; mining and metals, oil, gas and chemicals; and government services.
