Kentech is delighted to announce the appointment of David Greer OBE as the incoming Chairman of Kentech. David who is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers has had a long and distinguished career with nearly 30 years of project experience with Shell on projects from the North Sea to the Philippines, Russia and Latin America. He has held the position of Project Director on many challenging projects including the $25Billion Sakhalin 2 LNG Project and the $2Billion Malampaya deep water gas-to-power project in the Philippines and he has also successfully led the establishment and execution of major change programs to strengthen project execution. Over the past 5 years, David has worked directly in the contracting area of the business as CEO of the $400M Al Suwaidi Construction company in Saudi Arabia and he is currently the CEO of Serco Middle East.
After nearly 20 years in the role of Chairman of the Kentech Group, M. F. Kent will be retiring from this role. Frank will remain as a non-executive Director of Kentech, he will ensure that there is a smooth transition to the new Chairman and he will continue to contribute at a board level as well as endorsing and supporting the company’s culture and charter. In addition to being the founder of Kentech, Frank has led the board since he established the company in 1994.
