During January 2014, Kentech Mexico secured the next phase of works with Emerson Process & Control in Jaltipan, Veracruz, and with Jacobs/ Dupont in Altamira, Tampico. Both of these contracts follow the successful execution of the previous contracts in Salina Cruz and Altamira respectively and confirm the strong working relationships that have been developed with these Blue Chip companies and their trust and confidence in the delivery abilities of Kentech Mexico.
Both projects feature mechanical works, in particular piping. In Jaltipan, Kentech Mexico have secured their largest contract to date with Emerson Process Management, which will see us supply and install the piping for a fire-ring main upgrade in the Gas Station. This is part of upgrade works being brought about on the National Gas Network following the liberalization of foreign investment in the energy market and governmental reforms brought in by President Pena Nieto.
Meanwhile, on the Altamira site, Kentech is providing the enabling works, predominantly specialist piping tie-ins, for the second titanium powder line. These works follow on from the site preparation works started by Kentech on the site in 2012. This project is developing pigmentation technology to cope with increasing demand for paint coating systems in the residential and industrial sectors of México as well as overseas export.
Well done to the team in securing these two important contracts.
