Kentech Achieves 1 Million Man Hours Without a Lost Time Incident on the Borouge 3 LDPE Project

Building on Kentech’s award of HSE Best Subcontractor on Site earlier this year, on the 5th of June 2013 Kentech achieved the notable milestone of 1 Million Man-Hours without a lost time injury on the Borouge 3 Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) Expansion project- E&I Package in the United Arab Emirates.  

Mike Landsey, Site Manager congratulated the team and highlighted the fact that “This was only achievable due to everyone’s outstanding commitment to safety. The team on the LDPE E&I project have worked tirelessly to make safe practices a core part of everyone’s daily work routine.  The involvement and participation in safety of all site personnel is commendable particularly their appreciation for behavioural base practices.”

Kentech Site Management and Supervision have implemented the Kentech Health and Safety Programme to the full effect moving from early stage site specific training and education through to daily routine implementation and review with an ultimate aim to ingrain systemic HSE respect and responsibility in all personnel. This has been the foundation to the achievement of this significant milestone.
