August has seen the passing of a couple of safety milestones for the team in Sakhalin.
The team have surpassed 11 million manhours LTI free this month. This is truly a proud achievement for the team locally and the whole of Kentech. In order to achieve a milestone like this, you need a workforce built on mutual respect and a safety culture which leaves no room for compromise.
In addition, they have reached the 750,000 manhour LTI free milestone on the Maintenance and Modifications contract with Exxon Neftegas Limited. Kentech were originally awarded this contract in 2008. The various projects we have been involved in have centred around the Chayvo site and has covered the full EPC spectrum of works. Please keep an eye out for the next edition of Konnect, the Kentech Magazine, in which Ray Walsh, Kentech Project Manager, has provided a full breakdown of our various works on this contract so far.
Fergal Cullen, General Manager of the Sakhalin region commented “The achievement of these safety milestones is all down to the total dedication and uncompromising vigilance of the teams on site. Myself and the rest of Kentech’s management team would like to sincerely thank each and every one of the Kentech Sakhalin team for their contribution to these proudly guarded HSE milestones. Keep up the good work".
