A new contract has been awarded to Kentech in Abu Dhabi for Electrical & Instrumentation works on the 4th NGL Train in Ruwais, part of Gasco’s Integrated Gas Development (IGD). The contract has been awarded by the Petrofac / GS Joint venture, main contractor on the $2.2 billion development, designed to process NGL products from AGD-0, Bab, Bu Hasa, Habshan 1 and Habshan 2.
Kentech has been introduced to the project to bolster the existing capabilities on site and bring its completions competency to bear in the latter stages of the project. Our track record in the UAE, and with Petrofac in particular, has been a key factor in our selection for this project and we are delighted with the opportunity to further enhance our reputation with a key client. Shane Donnachie, Vice President of Business Development for Kentech, commented “Petrofac has become one of the global EPC powerhouses and they are a key client for Kentech in the UAE. We hope that this project cements our position as one of their more trusted subcontractors and we look forward to supporting them on this, and future, projects”.
