In another important development in our reorganisation of the company along three best in class service lines, John Gilley now announces the appointment of Ruairi O’Sullivan as Global Service Line Director for Turnaround, Maintenance & Modifications (TMM).
"Through our TMM service line, we can deliver a step change for our clients in asset performance at lower cost. We provide customised services that help our clients improve overall asset performance and efficiency while reducing risk. Our teams provide planning, supervision, and self-perform execution of routine and non-routine maintenance, modifications, and shutdown / turnarounds.
Since Ruairi joined Kentech in November 2016 as the Regional Operations Director for Europe and The Caspian, he has supported the Shell multi-discipline contracts in The Netherlands and the Shah Deniz 2 / South Caucasus Pipeline projects for BP in Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Ruairi is an experienced Operations Manager with over 30 years of project execution and construction experience in the Oil & Gas, Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Bulk Chemicals and Mining & Metals industries. He has worked on projects in Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the Bahamas and Australia. Much of the last 10 years has been spent in General and Operations Management roles with executive oversight for delivery of projects in Australia, China, Mongolia & Guinea. Prior to joining Kentech, Ruairi had spent 4 years in Australia as the GM for the Melbourne Office and General Manager of Fluor’s Oil & Gas business before returning to the European market to head up Fluor’s European Life Sciences Group.
Ruairi trained as a Piping Engineer, is a Certified Manufacturing Engineer, has studied Mechanical and Process Separation Technologies and is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers of America and a senior member of the American Society for Quality.
