Kentech continues work at Karachaganak field in Kazakhstan

Kentech are delighted to announce that we have recently been awarded an electrical and instrumentation contract at the Karachaganak field by the operator, KPO.  This continues Kentech’s experience on this field which dates back to 1999 when we won our first contract to provide a fully functional workshop for valve replacement.

The Karachaganak field, discovered in 1979, is one of the world’s largest gas and condensate fields. Today, it is the largest gas producing field in Kazakhstan, accounting for some 45 per cent of the country’s total gas production and around 16 per cent of total liquids production.
