On behalf of Kentech, I would like to wish you and your family a very safe and prosperous 2012. I am sure that this year will be another exciting year and will present us with many new challenges and opportunities. I am pleased to announce, that we have refreshed the Kentech brand and that as part of this initiative we have launched our new website.  Whilst we have updated the overall look of the Kentech identity, we continue to share the same values and commitments to our employees, clients and partners.

Today, Kentech employs in the region of 3,000 people who hail from 28 different countries offering a unique multi-cultural environment where each employee can grow and develop.  One of the common characteristics of Kentech's culture is the positive energy and approach we apply to all our projects. With this in mind, we are adding a new tagline ‘Energy & Industry’ to the Kentech identity.  This also reflects the key sectors where we target out services.

On this website, you will see some of the key 2011 achievements which we would like to highlight:-

  • Building on our Safety Record:

I am pleased to say that all works executed by Kentech in 2011 were completed without a lost time incident (LTI).  It is now 13.5million manhours since our last LTI. Also during 2011, we were awarded the Safest Contractor of 2011 by Exxon Neftegas Limited in Russia.  Our safety record is one that we are very proud of butit is an area where we can always learn and improve and we will continue to do so on a daily basis.

  • Offshore Projects

We successfully completed a number of offshore projects ranging from the Caspian Sea to the Arabian Gulf. In the Arabian Gulf alone we have safely completed the installation and commissioning works on three semi-submersibles in the last 24 months, one of which is featured here.

  • Building on Industrial Experience:

Mining & Metals: We have continued to develop our large scale project experience with the completion of two aluminium smelters and associated port facilities in Qatar and the UAE.

Utilities: We completed two water treatment facilities during the year including the 45 million gallon/day Shuaiba facility in Kuwait.

Industrial Gases: In 2011, Kentech Mexico was awarded the multi-discipline construction and testing of the 1,783 tonne/day Oxygen Plant which represents a new milestone for the Mexico team and for the Kentech Group.

  • Expanding our Gas Experience

We commenced another project at the Asab Gas Plant, UAE which builds on on Kentech’s considerable large scale LNG experience and gas processing experience.

  • Regional Expansion:

I am also pleased to announce the establishment of our new operation in Australia which is another exciting step in the development and expansion of Kentech globally.
