Sarah Kent is the CEO of the Kentech Group and prior to her commencement in this role in 2008, she led the international sales and marketing division of the Kentech Group. She joined Kentech in 2004 after having worked in a number of international business’s and working across many markets. Before commencing at Kentech, Sarah was responsible for the corporate and business development functions for RSA Security’s European business, now part of EMC. RSA Security is a market leader in network security and authentication products and during her tenure at RSA she was responsible for delivering a number of complex technology agreements and associated implementations, the development and implementation of the European business development strategy and managing the support services across Europe.

Prior to this, Sarah worked at American Express for a number of years where her final role was leading their international online Business to Business initiatives having previously worked on developing and standardising American Express’s telecommunications and payment network over 12 International markets. Given her strong technical and commercial background and wealth of international market experience, she was selected to represent international markets on American Express’s worldwide online strategy development.

Sarah commenced her career as Electrical Engineer and then moved into product development and sales engineering for the Australian technology company, Keycorp. Her final role at Keycorp was as Product Manager of their Payment product line. She graduated with an honours degree in Electrical Engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland.

Given the extent of her time and experience in Kazakhstan, she was asked by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Kazakhstan to take up the position of Kazakh Honorary Council for Ireland and she now holds this position.
