Kentech Sakhalin Surpass 14 Million Manhours LTI Free
It is with huge delight and pride that we can announce that the Kentech team in Sakhalin have surpassed 14 million manhours without incurring a LTI. This is a truly outstanding achievement over a long period of time and in some of the harshest conditions in the world. A massive congratulations and thanks goes out to the Sakhalin teams, past and present, who have contributed to this remarkable story. This is another example of Kentech's world class safety standards.
Kentech Sakhalin Are Awarded ENL Contractor of the Year For The Fifth Time
The 2017 Sakhalin-1 SSH&E Forum was held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on the 26th September, the theme of which was ‘SSH&E Excellence is Our Way’. This year’s forum differed from previous years with the addition of contractor trade booths whereby contractors displayed how they were contributing to SSH&E excellence on the Sakhalin-1 Project. Also added to the agenda was an interactive session with the audience participants called ‘Who Wants To Be A Safety Hero’. Kentech played a leading role in the organising of this year’s event; designing and hosting the interactive session, coordinating contractors’ presentations and trade booths. The day finished up with the Safe Contractor of The Year award ceremony and we are delighted to announce that the Kentech Maintenance Team were a recipient of this award for the 5th time. Well done to the entire Kentech team in Sakhalin.
Kentech Group and PetroGasTech Holding Announce Formation of New Special Purpose Russian Company
Kentech Group and Russian registered PetroGasTech Holding is pleased to announce the establishment of a new special purpose company. Established in June 2017 and operating under the name, Kentech Eurasia LLC, the new Russian Legal Enterprise is jointly owned and has been established to offer the Russian energy and industrial market a new, exciting, and competitive value proposition that leverages the shareholders complementary skill and capabilities. Kentech Eurasia is based in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on Sakhalin Island, and builds upon its shareholders +15 years of local Russian, and +25 years of global knowledge and experience. The company will provide it’s safe, reliable and value-based services across the asset life-cycle to select clients in the Russian Far East, and the Russian mainland. Services include: Construction & Hook-Up; Turnaround, Maintenance & Modifications; and Specialist Technical Services such as Commissioning, Preservation Maintenance, and Intervention/Recovery contracting. “We are excited about this agreement”, commented Fergal Cullen, General Director, Kentech Eurasia, and Kentech’s Country Manager, Sakhalin. “The establishment of Kentech Eurasia builds upon the shareholders strong existing reputation in the market and continues to demonstrate our strong and continued commitment to providing the market with a safe, dependable and local Russian solution that is based upon international best practices and standards.”
Kentech Maintenance Contract Renewal on Sakhalin-1 Project
On the 18th August 2015, Kentech was awarded a 5 year Instrument, Control & Automation, Electrical, Telecommunications, HVAC Maintenance & Construction Services Agreement on the Sakhalin 1 Project by client Exxon Neftegas Limited (ENL). The Sakhalin 1 Project is comprised of onshore facilities Chayvo OPF, Odoptu FSP and offshore platforms Berkut and Orlan in the remote Sakhalin Island region, as well as the DeKastri Oil Terminal situated on the Far Eastern Russian Federal Mainland.
Kentech Awarded 2013 Sakhalin-1 Contractor of the Year
The Kentech team working on the Sakhalin-1 General Maintenance and Modifications contract have recently been awarded the 2013 Sakhalin-1 Contractor of the Year by their client Exxon Neftegas Limited (ENL). The team previously won this award in 2011.
