Kentech Mexico were recently awarded a 2 year services contract by Jacobs for works on the 500 Million DuPont Altamira Line 2 Expansion Project. The Altamira Expansion Project will rapidly expand DuPont’s titanium dioxide capabilities by providing approximately 200,000 metric tonnes of new capacity per year.
Kentech are pleased to announce the opening of our new office in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico. These new offices in the south of Mexico mark not only our commitment to the Mexico region as a whole but also our expanding footprint in the region as a reflection of the growing number of projects Kentech has executed in south of the region including our ongoing works at Cangrejera Petrochemical Complex, the many projects we have executed at the Morelos Complex, recent works at the Pajaritos Petrochemical Complex and our recent works at the Minatitlan Complex.
In April 2012, Kentech Mexico were awarded the contract to supply, install and test pressurization units in the control rooms and substation of the low density polyethylene plant at the Cangrejera Petrochemical Complex. The project was awarded to us by Pemex Petroquimica and this marks Kentech’s third project on the Cangrejera Complex, following execution of works at the CCR Plataforming site (details of which can be seen here). This contract, which is due to run until June 2013, also builds on Kentech’s multi-disciplinary works in the Mexico region where we will be delivering civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation and control services.
At the beginning of 2011, we announced the news that the Kentech team in Mexico had secured a major project with Air Liquide. The project comprises the full Construction Scope of Works – Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Tanks, Electrical, & Instrumentation associated with the build of a complete Oxygen Plant and will be constructed with our partner Grupo IMA.
Having recently successfully completed the construction of a Technical Warehouse on behalf of Pemex Petroquimica in the Morelos Petrochemical Complex in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico, Kentech Mexico are pleased to announce the award of a further contract in the same complex – the refurbishment of a 95 metre tall Ethane Ethylene Tower located within the Complexes Ethylene Plant.
